The sleep products must be clean and fresh in order for allergy sufferers to sleep well. Each of us spends many hours a day in bed. And when the body is in close contact with bedding for extended periods of time, it picks up various residues, such as sweat, dandruff and cosmetic residues. Fortunately, however, our products are designed to be highly durable and very easy to care for. Almost all Familon pillows, duvets and textiles can be washed in water at 60 °C, which effectively removes contaminants. The covers of top mattresses and mattresses can also be washed with water, which makes them easier to care for. Enjoy a fresh night’s sleep!

The allergy-friendliness of our products is indicated by certificates issued by independent research institutes. All Familon pillows, duvets and textiles, as well as the textile materials used in beds and mattresses, have been awarded the Öko-Tex Standard 100 certificate, which is an international testing and certification system for textiles. The Öko-Tex Standard 100 restricts the use of harmful chemicals in textiles and guarantees that the product does not contain harmful residues of pesticides, heavy metals or formaldehyde.

The CertiPUR certificate, which has been issued to 99 per cent of the polyurethane foam we use, indicates the purity of our foam products. CertiPUR®-certified foam is safe for the user and proven to be harmless. CertiPUR-certified products do not contain heavy metals, phthalates, allergenic or carcinogenic dyes or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are hazardous to health. Enjoy safe and sound sleep!
